Tillotson Carb Not Getting Fuel. i rebuilt a tillotson hu40 carb, completly cleaned and installed new gaskets and diaphrams. mid range seemed ok. The fuel is pumped and enters through the fuel. Now i have two problems. i've pick the engine and carb from local adds. It has maybe been seating there for 2 to 4 years not running. I have a 73 olympique 400 e , cant seem to pump any gas , i have rebuilt the carb with. the carb pulls fuel from the tank using the pump diaphragm which is the brown thin diaphragm and not the black. Fuel spits from the carb at all times and have attempted to run in the low needle to. #1 · feb 17, 2021.
